Refund Policy
Last updated: 21 May 2026
We want you to feel safe trying Othr Pro. This policy explains our refund commitment, how to request a refund, and the consumer rights you have on top of it. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on every Othr Pro subscription. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, request a refund within 30 days of your order date and we will refund the full amount to your original payment method.
The 30-day window applies to your initial purchase. For renewals, you can also request a refund within 30 days of the renewal date if the renewal took you by surprise or you no longer want the service.
2. How to request a refund
Refunds are managed directly by us. To request one, email contact@askothr.com from your account email address with your order reference, and we will process the refund to your original payment method via our secure payment provider (Stripe).
Refunds usually appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Currency conversion fees charged by your bank are outside our control.
3. What happens to your subscription
Once a refund is issued, your Othr Pro subscription is cancelled. Your access to Pro features ends at that point, and your account moves back to the free plan. Your conversation history is preserved.
4. UK consumer rights
If you are a UK consumer, you have additional rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These include:
- A statutory 14-day right to cancel a distance contract for digital services.
- By starting to use Othr Pro immediately after purchase, you agree that supply may begin within that 14-day window, and you acknowledge that you may lose the statutory cancellation right once supply has begun.
- Our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee goes beyond your statutory rights — it does not replace them.
You also keep your statutory rights in respect of services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill, or that do not match their description.
5. EU consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the EEA, you benefit from equivalent protections under your local implementation of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Digital Content Directive (2019/770). The same logic applies: by starting to use the service immediately, you accept that supply begins within the statutory cancellation period.
6. Out-of-scope situations
The 30-day guarantee does not normally apply to:
- Accounts terminated for serious breaches of our Acceptable Use Policy (for example, generating prohibited content or attempting to abuse the system).
- Suspected fraud, chargeback abuse or repeated refund-and-resubscribe cycles.
- Periods of use that pre-date the most recent 30-day window for renewals.
We apply these exceptions narrowly. If you think we got it wrong, contact us and we will review.
7. Chargebacks
We'd rather solve the problem ourselves than have you raise a chargeback with your bank. Please email contact@askothr.com first — refund requests are almost always faster that way.
